ANTENATAL CARE
This is offered by the midwives Belinda Taylor and Ann Keeping in conjunction with all the GPs. The midwifes are happy to offer pre-conception advice. If you are pregnant please inform your GP or one of the midwives so that arrangements can be made for your antenatal care. Your midwife will arrange a booking visit during which she will explain the checks that you will need, including blood tests, ultrasound examinations and regular visits to the surgery. She will give you up written information and a set of notes with details of your care, which you will need for all appointments. During your pregnancy the place of delivery will be discussed. Antenatal and Parent Craft classes are held at Ottery Hospital.
