Advice is available from all the doctors during normal surgery hours. A nurse led clinic is run on Friday evenings (4-5.30pm). Teenagers can attend the Teenage Advice Clinic without making an appointment on Monday afternoons (4-6pm). Requests for the Emergency Contraception can be made at any time at either the surgery, Ottery Hospital or at a local pharmacy. As emergency contraception is most effective within the first 72 hours after intercourse, you may have to ask for an urgent appointment with the nurse or doctor. For specialized procedures such as coil or cap fitting you may be asked to come at a specific time to allow for a longer appointment.
