HELP SCHEME
The HELP Scheme is run by Pat Lane and Jane Ross who organise a loyal group of volunteers. Their aim is to assist people in the community, either getting to the surgery, to Ottery St. Mary Hospital or to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. The Scheme offers advice and practical help in many areas such as mobility aides. Volunteers can also visit people at home, deliver hot meals from the hospital and take patients to Day Centres. The HELP Scheme performs a vital service in our community acting as a bridge for vulnerable people enabling them to access health care.
