RECEPTION AND
ADMINISTRATION
The
reception team are here to help you as best they can. They have a
challenging job, dealing with busy phone lines as well as answering
queries, making appointments and checking
people in. Mondays are always particularly busy, as are days that lead
up to and follow bank holidays.
Please try and be patient. It would greatly assist them if non urgent
phone calls for blood results etc. could be made after 11 am.
There are many other important members of the team who work behind the
scenes. The running of such a large practice generates a huge volume of
paperwork and electronic mail. The team deal with this as well as
maintaining the IT systems, performing secretarial duties, arranging
recalls, audit and financial work. They help organise the running of the
surgery and in particular organise the doctors!
Our practice manager Mrs. Anne Maher aims to maintain the efficient
running of the practice. If you feel dissatisfied with any aspect of the
service or have ideas for improvements, we welcome your comments and
suggestions. You can speak to one of the reception staff or if you
prefer use the suggestions box on the reception desk.
Mrs. Maher is available to discuss any issues and will try to resolve
problems you may have encountered. You can request an appointment at the
reception desk, by telephone or if you prefer put your comments in
writing to Mrs. Maher. If at any stage you feel your concerns remain
unresolved, the practice has a Complaints Procedure. |
