ULTRASOUND CLINIC

We are one of the only practices in Devon to offer this service 'in house'. Lists are held fortnightly by a private (paid for by the practice) experienced ultra-sonographer.

If your GP decides you require this test you will be offered an appointment by phone in the first clinic available. Preparation is important to get good quality information from the scan so please follow the instructions you are given carefully.

SIGMOIDOSCOPY

This is a specialised procedure that is offered by Dr Cox at Axminster Hospital. It allows for the last part of the bowel to be visualised via a special flexible fibreoptic camera.

If your doctor decides you need this test, a referral will be passed on to Dr Cox whoose secretary will make contact with you to arrange a date.
