Dr Cole trained at St Bartholomew's Medical School in London then spent several years working in Reading, Oxford and Nottingham in acute medicine and radiology before becoming a GP. She has specialist interest in general medical problems, radiological investigations, women's health and family planning.

Outside work, she spends as much time as possible enjoying the beautiful Devon countryside, walking, riding and swimming outdoors. She is married to a local orthopaedic surgeon, has two young sons and various animals.
