Profile:

Dr Gibbons did her undergraduate studies at Cambridge University and her clinical training at Edinburgh University. She spent several years working in Glasgow and Edinburgh in general internal medicine and infectious diesases and took some time out to do the tropical medicine diploma at Liverpool University. She did her general practice training and worked as a GP for several years Edinburgh.

In addition to her interests in internal medicine and infectious diseases Dr Gibbons has an interest in medical education and works as an Associate Lecturer at the Peninsula Medical School.

Dr Gibbons is married to a Glaswegian (now local) consultant respiratory physician. She spends as much time as possible with her husband and 3 young children enjoying the Devon countryside and beyond. They love having family adventures to castles and beaches from Cornwall to the Scottish Islands.
